Eagles Aiming to Secure 3 Points Against Basement Club

The relegation battle in the Premier League is far from over and the clubs in the bottom half of the table cannot afford to rest following the international break.
On Saturday afternoon we have a crucial meeting between Crystal Palace and Huddersfield Town at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles begin the weekend in 14th place with 33 points to their name and that leaves them 5 points clear of the relegation zone. Huddersfield Town have little to fight for in terms of survival as they are as good as relegated but pride should push them on for the remainder of the campaign.
Crystal Palace lost 2-1 at Watford in the FA Cup quarter-final in their last match before the international break and it was a disappointing way to go out. That result means they have won one of their last four games in all competitions, with the victory coming at Burnley in the Premier League at the beginning of March.
Trends show Crystal Palace have not been good enough at home in the Premier League and they have won just one of their last seven games at Selhurst Park. The win came against Fulham in February and since then there have been defeats to Manchester United and Brighton and Hove Albion plus a draw with West Ham United.
Both teams have scored in four of their last five home Premier League games.
Huddersfield Town were hoping the 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers would be the start of a mini revival until the end of the season but it has not turned out that way. Since winning that match in February, the Terriers have lost each of the following three games, all of which have been in the Premier League.
There have been defeats at Brighton and Hove Albion and West Ham United plus a 2-0 loss at home to Bournemouth.
Trends show Huddersfield Town have been in bad form for some time and they have won just three of their last thirty-seven games in all competitions. They have lost seventeen on their last nineteen matches and have failed to score a single goal in eight of their last eleven.
Huddersfield have lost eight of their last nine away Premier League matches, picking up just one draw in the process.
Team news and Crystal Palace are without central defender Mamadou Sakho who has a knee injury. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Wilfried Zaha are doubtful and both would be a big miss.
Huddersfield Town are without the injured trio of Jonathan Hogg, Adama Diakhaby and Isaac Mbenza. Laurent Depoitre could return from a foot injury and take his place up-front.
Crystal Palace have been disappointing at home in recent weeks but this is the perfect opportunity to put that right. Huddersfield Town have been poor away from home and the Eagles should have enough to win the match.
