Borussia Dortmund will welcome Hoffenheim to the Signal Iduna Park this weekend with the home team hanging onto fourth spot.

Ahead of the game in Germany, Forebet is back with all the data, trends, mathematics and the probability of another Dortmund win.

So far in the 2023/24 season, BVB have won only 50% of their games in the Bundesliga.

This sees them with 11 victories from the 22 games, despite almost winning the title last season in German top flight.

BVB have also managed to lose only three games, however, which is one less than Bayern Munich's tally of four.

Dortmund travelled to the Netherlands in midweek to meet with PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League, as former PSV man, Donyell Malen, scored against them in the first half of a 1-1 draw.

It means there is everything to play for in the second leg between those two sides after the Black and Yellow topped their group in the Champions League.

Dortmund went to Wolfsburg last weekend and drew 1-1, as Niclas Fullkrug scored against his former side within eight minutes.

Fullkrug was also amongst the goals in the last win for Dortmund over Freiburg two weeks ago, as Malen netted a first half brace as well.

Such results keep last season's runners-up just one point ahead of RB Leipzig in fifth and behind Stuttgart in third by five points too.

Bayern are still way clear of them by nine points, while Bayer Leverkusen are ahead of Dortmund by an almighty 17 points after just 22 games.

This will be the third time Hoffenheim and Dortmund have met this season, as the Black and Yellow defeated them 3-1 in the reverse fixture in the league thanks to a goal each from Fullkrug, Marco Reus and Julian Ryerson.

The two then met in the DFB-Pokal second round and Dortmund won the game thanks to a finish from Reus once more.

Reus and co. are, however, out of the DFB-Pokal now after a loss away to Stuttgart two months ago.

As for Hoffenheim, they are up into ninth now and they still won't give up hope on a spot in the Europa Conference League position of sixth with the gap only six points on Eintracht Frankfurt.

The club are, however, winless in nine games and have gone over two months without a league win.

Forebet predicts a Dortmund win and over 2.5 goals.
