Premier League Fantasy Football Picks – Round 13

Premier League Fantasy Football Picks – Round 13
4915

Fantasy Football returns this weekend following the international break, so it’s time to start thinking about which players to select in your team for Round 13.

There are some good value picks for the upcoming round of fixtures, while some the league’s more expensive players are also worth considering.

Let’s take a look at some of the Premier League’s in-form stars as we assess the top picks for Round 13.

Goalkeeper

Nick Pope – Burnley

Fresh from making his England debut, Pope will be full of confidence heading into Round 13. The Burnley shot-stopper kept a clean sheet against Kosovo, and also prevented West Ham from scoring in Round 12. Watford are next up for Burnley, and the Hornets are the league lowest scoring side.

Defenders

Enda Stevens – Sheffield United

Only Leicester boast a better defensive record than Sheff Utd in England’s top-flight, and Enda Stevens has played a big part in the Blades’ solidity at the back this season. Stevens and Sheff Utd have claimed three clean sheets in their last five games, so including Stevens in your team is certainly a good idea.

Caglar Soyuncu – Leicester City

Soyuncu is fast becoming a cult figure at the King Power Stadium. Leicester have conceded the fewest goals in the division in 2019/20, with the Turkish international starring in the Foxes’ backline. Low-scoring Brighton are Leicester’s next opponents, so Soyuncu could be in line for another shutout.

Midfielders

John McGinn – Aston Villa

McGinn is one of the first names on Dean Smith’s team sheet at the moment. The Scottish midfielder has adapted seamlessly to the Premier League and is attracting attention from some of the country’s top clubs. He will be keen to add to his tally of three goals and two assists against Newcastle.

Fabinho – Liverpool

The Brazilian has arguably been the league’s standout defensive midfielder this season. In Round 12, Fabinho showed us that he’s capable of scoring goals as well as doing the dirty work. His wonder strike against Manchester City has only enhanced his reputation, so he will surely be picked by plenty of Fantasy Football managers this weekend.

Forwards

Jamie Vardy – Leicester City

With six goals in his last four league appearances, Vardy is undoubtedly the Premier League’s in-form striker at the moment. Vardy sits at the top of goal-scoring charts with 12 goals to his name this term, and you’d be foolish to best against him finding the back of the net against Brighton this weekend.

Harry Kane – Tottenham Hotspur

Despite not being at the top of his game, Harry Kane is still scoring goals on a consistent basis. Spurs are struggling to get going this season, but Kane has still netted at an average of over a goal every other game in the league. He also bagged four goals in two qualifying matches for England during the international break.
