Bayern Munich will be looking to continue their march towards a tenth straight Bundesliga title when RB Leipzig visit the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

With 14 games remaining this season, the Bavarians find themselves six points clear of second-place Borussia Dortmund.

Meanwhile, Leipzig sit sixth in the standings – three points outside the top four and 18 points behind Bayern Munich.

The defending champions have lost just three of their 20 Bundesliga games this term, picking up 16 wins and one draw in the process.

Not only are they the highest scorers in Germany’s top flight, but they also boast the best defensive record.

Having scored at least one goal in each of their previous 54 Bundesliga games, Bayern Munich will almost certainly find the back of the net on Saturday.

It is also worth noting that each of Bayern’s past eight encounters across all competitions have produced over 2.5 goals.

As for Leipzig, they made a poor start to the season but have turned things around under new head coach Domenico Tedesco.

After picking up just five wins in their opening 14 Bundesliga games, they have since lost just one of their previous six – securing four wins along the way.

The Red Bulls head into Saturday’s clash on a three-match winning streak, having seen off Mainz, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg in 2022.

Let’s not forget that Leipzig have also kept a clean sheet in each of their past three encounters in all competitions.

Head-to-head: Bayern are currently enjoying an eight-game unbeaten streak against Leipzig, having sealed four wins and four draws since their last loss in this fixture.

Looking at the wider picture, Leipzig have only managed to win one of their previous 13 meetings with Bayern – suffering seven defeats in that time.

Team news: Bayern will be without Leon Goretzka (hip) and Alphonso Davies (heart) on Saturday. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Bouna Sarr are also absent due to AFCON.

On the flip side, the Red Bulls are currently missing left-back Marcel Halstenberg and forward Emil Forsberg through injury.

Regardless of RB Leipzig’s recent resurgence, Bayern Munich should have more than enough quality to claim all three points on Saturday.

Forebet predicts that Bayern will secure a customary win over Leipzig, netting at least two goals on their way to victory.
