Chelsea Eyeing up the Top 8 This Weekend With the Hosting of Burnley

The Premier League returns after the March internationals, and Forebet is here to put together all the latest in football predictions by using the latest analysis, data, trends and mathematics to find the probability of a winner.

Chelsea are hosting Burnley at Stamford Bridge in this one, and the Blues are in better goalscoring form than they have been all season long, as they have now scored 12 times in the four games since brutally losing the EFL Cup final at the end of February.

Chelsea first kicked this off with a 3-2 fifth round win over Leeds United in the FA Cup, as Nicolas Jackson scored alongside a finish from Mykhalio Mudryk.

Conor Gallagher stole the headlines in the end with a finish in the 90th minute to win the game.

A 2-2 draw back in the Premier League would follow with Jackson scoring once more, but it was Axel Disasi who stole the headlines with an equalsier late on in a London derby.

Mauricio Pochettino's side also managed to get a fantastic win over Newcastle United in early March, as Jackson scored for the third game in a row before Cole Palmer continued his excellent form this season with another goal. Mudryk got another goal that day too.

That was the last Premier League win for Chelsea, as the FA Cup was up next for them where Marc Cucurella scored his first Chelsea goal against Leicester City before another finish from Palmer.

However, the headlines were grabbed by Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke, as both netted deep into stoppage time.

Burnley, however, are in the drop zone still but now sit behind Luton Town by only five points with them managing to defeat Brentford last time out to close the gap, as David Datro Fofana and Jacob Bruun Larsen netted a goal each.

This was, however, just the fourth win of the season for the Clarets, and with 20 losses on the board, they have suffered the same defeats as Sheffield United and also sit just three points clear of them. Nevertheless, there is still hope with the gap only five points on the safe spots.

Given the awful form of Burnley, Forebet now predicts them to lose here and for the game to see over 2.5 goals once more.

In fact, Chelsea continue to score more recently but also struggle in keeping clean sheets as well, and the Clarets might fancy themselves to get at least a goal.
