Turf Moor opens its doors to Burnley and Newcastle United this weekend with Forebet grouping together the latest data, analysis, mathematics and trends to find out the probability of winning across our football predictions.

This game feels like the biggest of the season for Burnley with the club miraculously getting themselves back to within a serious shout of surviving this Premier League season.

This comes after a well-fought point away to Manchester United at Old Trafford where Zeki Amdouni scored late on from the penalty spot to earn a 1-1 draw from behind.

The Clarets have now lost just one of their past eight games in an away loss to Everton, and this has now put the club to within just two points of Nottingham Forest in 17th and only one behind Luton Town in 18th.

Burnley's recent unbeaten run saw them draw 1-1 with Brighton & Hove Albion after Josh Brownhill scored, which was part of a three-game unbeaten run on home soil.

Vincent Kompany's men then smashed fellow strugglers Sheffield United 4-1 shortly after at Bramall Lane.

Jacob Bruun Larsen was back amongst the goals that day, as was Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Lyle Foster and Lorenz Assignon.

There are now three games left for Burnley to perform one of the greatest escapes in the Premier League era, but if they are to do so, they may have to win one more game and simply hope Luton Town and Nottingham Forest do not match this result.

There is a chance that Burnley draw all three of their remaining games and survive, but they just hope the aforementioned two strugglers then lose their three matches. On the other hand, based on form, Burnley may get it done.

For Newcastle, there is little to play for but a spot in the Europa Conference League for them it seems, as they are one point behind sixth-placed Manchester United and adrift of Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League spot of fifth by seven points.

It has been a topsy-turvy for Newcastle throughout the entirety of the campaign, summarized by their recent run.

The recent games for the Magpies have seen them smash Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 before then losing 2-0 away to Crystal Palace.

Then they broke the record for most goals scored in one Premier League season against an opposition by beating Sheffield United 5-1 to make it 13 goals in two games against them.

Forebet now predicts a win for Newcastle and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
