Hammers to win London derby against Fulham

On Saturday afternoon, Fulham host West Ham at Craven Cottage in a Premier League London derby match.

Fulham are bottom of the table and even the appointment of Premier League-winning boss Claudio Ranieri has not improved their fortunes in the top-flight. The Cottagers have now won just one of their last 13 league games while picking up two league wins all season.

A 4-1 defeat at Manchester United last time out in the top-flight means that the Cottagers have now lost eight of their last ten league games.

One of the home side’s main problems of late has been conceding far too many goals, as the Cottagers have conceded at least two goals in eight of their last ten league matches.

Fulham’s recent home form has been mixed, but a record of just two wins from seven league outings on home soil is not a great one. Defensive issues have also been an issue on home soil this season, as the Cottagers have conceded at least two goals in five of their last seven matches.

West Ham have hit form of late, recording three straight Premier League wins, while scoring three goals in each victory. Last time out, the Hammers recorded a 3-2 home win over another London rival Crystal Palace.

Their recent good form has moved Manuel Pellegrini’s side up to 11th place and clear of the relegation zone.

The Irons have certainly offered good value for goals of late in the top-flight, as there have been over 2.5 goals scored in five of their last six league matches.

The Hammers are unbeaten in three away games in the Premier League, but their away form has been highly inconsistent of late. Their recent away games in the league have been low scoring with under 2.5 goals scored in three of their last four away matches.

Forebet predicts that West Ham will continue their winning run by recording a victory in a high scoring match.
