With Jurgen Klopp’s farewell tour almost over, the Reds find themselves five points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal with only three matches remaining.

On Sunday, Liverpool welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield, with the visitors hoping to strengthen their position in the race for a top-four finish.

Can the hosts keep their faint title dreams alive? Or will the visitor heap more misery on Klopp and his players? Read on to discover what Forebet’s AI algorithm predicts.

Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by West Ham United last weekend, despite coming from behind before finishing the game with 72% possession and 28 shots.

The Reds lost just two of their opening 31 Premier League matches but have stuttered in recent weeks, recording one win, two draws and two defeats in their last five outings.

Still, Klopp’s men have lost only one of their 17 home league games this season, picking up 13 wins and three draws while scoring over 2.5 goals on 11 occasions.

If Liverpool are to remain in the title race, they must defeat Tottenham and hope that both Arsenal and Manchester City slip up this weekend.

As for Spurs, they have struggled on the road of late, suffering a 3-0 defeat to Fulham before enduring a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Newcastle United last month.

Between late December and mid-April, Ange Postecoglou’s side managed to pick up a solitary victory in seven away league outings, recording three draws and three losses.

Across their opening 16 away games, Tottenham saw over 2.5 goals on 12 occasions, with nine of those encounters producing over 3.5 goals.

If recent trends are anything to go by, Sunday’s showdown will be a high-scoring affair, with both teams likely to score in an eventful encounter.

Head-to-head: Tottenham won the reverse fixture 2-1 back in September, ending a run of 11 league games against Liverpool without a victory.

Tottenham’s last Premier League win at Anfield came all the way back in 2011. Since then, Spurs have managed to win just four of their 25 league meetings with the Reds.

Team news: Joel Matip, Diogo Jota and Thiago Alcantara look set to miss the remainder of Liverpool’s campaign, with Conor Bradley also an injury doubt.

On the flip side, Tottenham’s injury list features Destiny Udogie, Timo Werner, Manor Solomon, Ben Davies, Ryan Sessegnon and Fraser Forster.

Despite their recent dip in form, Liverpool will be confident of returning to winning ways on home soil against an inconsistent Spurs outfit.

Forebet predicts that both teams will score on Sunday. However, Klopp’s men are expected to outscore Spurs and claim all three points at Anfield.
