Liverpool welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield on Saturday afternoon, aiming to maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are one of four teams on ten points at the top of the table – and they currently sit five points clear of eleventh-place Crystal Palace.

Having claimed three wins and one draw this season, Liverpool have extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 14 games.

The Reds have also lost just one of their previous 17 matches in all competitions, underlining their strength.

Liverpool have kept three clean sheets across their four Premier League outings this term, conceding just a single goal in the process.

They achieved shutouts in wins over Norwich, Burnley and Leeds – conceding their only goal of the season in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

Klopp’s men came from behind to beat AC Milan 3-2 in a Champions League thriller on Wednesday, notching 23 shots while enjoyed 63% possession.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, have made a bright start to life under their new head coach, Patrick Vieira.

The Eagles have only lost one of their opening four Premier League matches this term, registering one win and two draws along the way.

After losing to Chelsea on Matchday 1, Palace drew with Brentford and West Ham, before crushing Tottenham 3-0 last weekend.

Vieira’s men recorded 18 shots while enjoying 63% of the ball against Spurs, producing a totally dominant display on home soil.

Wilfried Zaha opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before new signing Odsonne Edouard came off the batch to bag a debut brace.

Head-to-head: Liverpool have won their previous eight Premier League meetings with Crystal Palace, scoring 24 goals in the process (three goals per game).

It is also worth noting that Klopp’s men have kept five clean sheets in that time, conceding just five goals along the way.

Team news: Teenage midfielder Harvey Elliott has joined Roberto Firmino on the sidelines after sustaining a serious leg injury last time out. Takumi Minamino could return for Liverpool.

As for Crystal Palace, they will be without injured trio Nathan Ferguson, Eberechi Eze and Jeffrey Schlupp this weekend.

When you look at the recent results between Liverpool and Palace, all the signs point towards a high-scoring home win on Saturday.

Forebet predicts that Liverpool will score over 2.5 goals on their way to dispatching the Eagles with ease.
