For the majority of the season, Sassuolo have been unable to put together any decent sort of sequence of results - up until now that is; Sassuolo bring a solid looking run of five matches without defeat into this upcoming lunchtime clash on Sunday.
Sassuolo have collected impressive wins against AC Milan and Lazio along with picking up points in draws with Cagliari, Napoli and Spezia in recent times and this has at least enabled the visitors to maintain their mid-table position on the Serie A ladder.
However, results away from home haven’t all been that convincing recently as Sassuolo have won just two out of their last seven games on their travels, albeit impressive victories chalked up at Juventus 2-1 and a 3-1 win at the aforementioned AC Milan as well.
Defeats at Roma, Atalanta and Udinese though suggest this upcoming trip to the Stadio Artemio Franchi could be a tricky one for Sassuolo who have failed to keep a single clean sheet in their last 11 away outings.
