Brighton Looking for Their First Win in 7 League Games With Sheffield United up Next

Brighton will be looking to crack the top four this weekend when they meet with the out-of-form Sheffield United who are struggling to get any sort of form together in their first season back in the Premier League.

Despite the woes of this year, Sheffield United head into this game off the back of their first win of the season, as the club edged past Wolverhampton Wanderers by the barest of margins at Bramall Lane.

The Blades took the lead through Cameron Archer in the 72nd minute of the game, and it looked as if Wolves had stolen a point with a finish in the final minute of regular time.

However, captain Oliver Norwood came up with the goods by converting a dramatic penalty in the 100th minute of the game.

This was, however, not just their first win of the Premier League season, but also their first win in all competitions after losing to Lincoln City in the second round of the EFL Cup.

In terms of injuries heading into this one, Chris Basham is out for the season, but Max Lowe and Anel Ahmedhodzic could return to action here.

Oliver McBurnie is also facing a late fitness test ahead of the game, but it seems as if Rhys Norrington-Davies, Gustavo Hamer and Rhian Brewster are all nearing returns but not ready to do so.

Tom Davies and Daniel Jebbison make up a lengthy injury list for Paul Heckingbottom to deal with.

As for Brighton, they are in seventh after a tough two months has seen their sensational unbeaten start to the campaign come crashing down.

However, they are still only six points off the top four and going well in the Europa League after beating Ajax in Amsterdam in midweek.

The Seagulls did draw 1-1 with Brighton and Fulham before this, however, and with them also losing to Manchester City, Aston Villa and drawing with Liverpool, the club are winless in their past six Premier League matches

As for injuries, Enciso Espinola is going to be out until the end of December, but there is positive news regarding Jakub Moder and Tariq Lamptey, who could both return after the international break.

Pervis Estupinan is going to be out for a while alongside Solly March, while Danny Welbeck, Lewis Dunk and James Milner are all set to miss out on action in this game.

Forebet predicts a win for Brighton and over 2.5 goals.
