Sheffield United aiming for an upset against Liverpool

Liverpool kept their Premier League title hopes alive with an incredible come-from-behind 4-3 win over Fulham on Sunday at Anfield.
The Reds will now head to Bramall Lane on Wednesday night to play bottom of the Premier League standings team, Sheffield United.
United will welcome back former manager Chris Wilder for the match. Following an embarrassing 5-0 loss to Burnley on Saturday, Sheffield United decided to sack manager Paul Heckingbottom.
The Blades are in disarray and many onlookers will be asking just how many goals Liverpool could score on the day.
Liverpool scored the third-most goals after 14 matches. Their 32 goals are just four behind Man City’s 36 and one behind Tottenham’s 33.
Speaking of Manchester City and Tottenham, their crazy 3-3 draw on Sunday allowed Liverpool to finish the weekend in second place and two points behind league leaders Arsenal.
The Reds have a difficult December, with games coming up against Manchester United and Arsenal before kicking off the new year against Newcastle United.
If Liverpool can go unbeaten over the next 30 days, they will be in strong contention for the title.
Liverpool are currently top of the form table with 14 points from the last six games. They scored 14 goals and conceded five times. Three of those goals conceded were against Fulham.
Goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher was criticised by some fans after Sunday’s win. The Irish goalkeeper played for the injured Alisson and conceded two save-able goals.
He is likely to start in goal once more. Alisson is expected to miss the next two games for Jurgen Klopp.
The Liverpool manager is likely to mix and match the team, as Liverpool have a difficult run of fixtures coming up.
Expect Klopp to rest key players. He won’t have Diogo Jota available due to a hamstring injury.
Centre-back Joel Matip will miss the game following a knee injury against Fulham. He is expected to miss significant time.
Andrew Robertson continues to rehab a shoulder injury and Thiago Alcantara will miss the game, too.
Liverpool have struggled on the road this season. They go to Bramall Lane having failed to win their last four Premier League away games.
If the Reds do not win the league, then fans can look to the team’s away form as the reason.
Sheffield United lost four of their last six home matches. No team has conceded more Premier League goals than the Blades’ 39.
Liverpool may struggle initially, but they should get goals and ease to a win. The Reds should win 3-0 and Mohamed Salah could get his 200 Liverpool goal.
