Slovakia and Romania battle it out for top spot in Group E where both sides are coming into this game with three points each. Forebet has the latest analysis, trends, data and football predictions for this final group game.

All four teams are sitting with three points right now in Group E, meaning all the nations in this group can still claim the top spot. Romania, however, are currently sitting top of the table and have no doubt been the standout team.

Romania have currently won one and lost the other match, defeating Ukraine in the first set of fixtures.

It was a sensational performance from the Romanians, who managed to score all three of their goals from long range.

Nicole Stanciu scored one of the goals of the tournament to get the ball rolling in that fixture, before Razvan Marin netted as well from distance in the second half.

It then took Denis Dragus just minutes to then score soon after Marin to conclude a 3-0 win for Romania against Ukraine after they had five shots on target and nine efforts in total.

They did, however, then meet with Belgium and suffer a bit of a beating. The Belgians had 20 shots towards the Romania goal that day, as nine of them hit the day where Youri Tielemans and Kevin De Bruyne scored a goal each at either end of the 90 minutes.

Romania had five shots on target from 14 efforts but never really tested the Belgium defence.

As for Slovakia, they opened this group wide open by suffering a loss to Ukraine. Uvan Schranz scored a goal in the opening 17 minutes of that fixture, as Mykola Shaprenko and Roman Yaremchuk scored goals for Ukraine.

There was a total of five shots on target each for those two countries in that game, but Slovakia are still well within this group after Schranz scored another goal back when they beat Belgium in the first game.

Schranz's finish that day was part of four shots on target for Slovakia in a win that was arguably the biggest upset of the Euro 2024 so far, given the Belgium stars on display.

A draw for both these teams could be enough for them to go through, depending on other results.

However, a loss for either one likely spells the end for them. Forebet now predicts a draw and under 2.5 goals.
