Sheffield United host Leicester City on Saturday with both teams unbeaten so far this season.

This will be the team’s first meeting in the Premier League since 1976, having recently only faced each other in the lower leagues.

Sheff Utd rescued a late draw at Bournemouth on the opening day before beating Crystal Palace in their first home match of the new campaign.

The Blades recorded 15 shots last time out, more than double the amount managed by Palace (6).

Despite seeing just 42% of the ball possession, Sheffield United always looked like the more comfortable side and a John Lundstram strike just after half-time won them the match.

Leicester followed up a goalless draw with Wolves by picking up another point against Chelsea in their previous match.

Wilfred Ndidi scored from a corner on 67 minutes after his earlier error lead to the Foxes conceding inside the first 10.

Leicester will feel they could have won the match at Stamford Bridge after missing a few chances to snatch all three points late on.

Ben Chilwell missed the trip to Chelsea with a minor hip problem however Christian Fuchs filled in admirably at left-back.

The 22-year-old is expected to return to action this weekend but Brendan Rodgers will be pleased to know that his understudy is more than capable.

That was the only change the manager made to his starting line-up in the opening two fixtures and he is likely to revert back the team he put out on the opening day.

As for the Blades, they have two injury concerns with both John Fleck and Callum Robinson forced off during the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Fleck was substituted in the first half with a hamstring problem while Robinson departed early in the second half due to a thigh strain.

Chris Wilder will be hoping that the key pair won’t be missing from action for too long.

Remarkably, the overall head-to-head record between the two teams is level.

From 95 meetings, Sheffield United and Leicester City both have 31 wins, with the other 33 matches drawn.

However, Leicester boast the more impressive recent record, as the Foxes are unbeaten in their last seven encounters with the Blades (W4, D3, L0).

It’s set to be a tight affair this time. Sheffield United come into the match full of confidence after picking up their first win since returning to top-flight action.

Forebet predicts a draw, with both teams scoring over 1.5 goals.
