We have a full set of fixtures to look forward to in La Liga this week with the games spread across 3 days. The final match of the week takes place on Thursday night as Getafe welcome Granada to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Getafe have had a decent start to the season and find themselves in 10th place ahead of this round of matches. However, Granada have had a tremendous run at the beginning of this season and they are top of the table coming into week 11. Can they maintain their place at the top of the league or will Getafe get the win and move into the top half?

Getafe come into this match having lost 2-0 at Sevilla on the weekend. It was their second straight defeat in all competitions having lost at Basel in the Europa League Last Thursday night. Getafe looked as though they could be holding out for a point but conceded in the 69th minute and then again 12 minutes before the end of the game.

That was their first defeat in 3 La Liga matches having previously defeated Real Sociedad away and Leganes at home.

Trends show Getafe have lost only 3 of their last 19 home league games and have scored 2 or more goals in 4 of their last 6 league matches. However, they have also conceded 2 or more goals in four of those 6 games.

Granada make the trip to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez having recorded a 1-0 home win over Real Betis on the weekend. That was their second win in succession following the 1-0 victory over Osasuna the week before, a match which was also played at home.

Trends show Granada have lost only one of their last 8 La Liga games and that defeat came in their last away match which was at Real Madrid. They have won 6 of their last 8 league matches and have lost only one of their 5 away La Liga games this season.

Granada Have managed to score at least 1 goal in each of their last 8 matches and have scored at least 2 goals in 4 of their last 5 away games. Granada also have a good recent record when playing against Getafe, having won each of their last 3 meetings in La Liga.

Team news and Getafe are without the injured duo of Amath Ndiaye Diedhiou and Vitorino Antunes. They also have doubts over the fitness of Damian Suarez, Filip Manojlovic, Allan Nyom, González Cabrera Bruno and Markel Bergara.

Granada travel without Yangel Herrera who is suspended and the injured Angel Montoro. Antonio Puertas, Fede Vico and Quini are all close to full fitness but there are doubts over Darwin Machis, Yan Brice and Neyder Lozano.

Despite being top of the table ahead of this week’s games, this is going to be a tough game for Granada away from home. However, they have had the beating of Getafe recently and could win with both teams scoring.
