West Ham host Manchester United at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon as both sides aim to preserve their respective unbeaten records in the Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are sitting pretty at the top of the table after taking ten points from their opening four games (three wins, one draw).

The Hammers, on the other hand, find themselves eighth on eight points, having picked up two wins and two draws so far.

David Moyes’ side scored four goals in each of their opening two games, beating Newcastle 4-2 and Leicester City 4-1.

However, they have been held to a draw in both of their last two Premier League outings – drawing 2-2 with Crystal Palace and 0-0 with Southampton.

Thanks to a solid end to last season, which saw them secure Europa League football, the Hammers are currently enjoying a seven-match unbeaten streak in the league.

They have also avoided defeat in 13 of their previous 16 matches at the London Stadium, underlining their strength on home soil.

On Thursday, West Ham claimed a 2-0 away victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League, with Michail Antonio and Declan Rice grabbing the goals.

Manchester United looked set for an easy win over Young Boys in the Champions League last time out, but that didn’t happen.

Despite going ahead through Cristiano Ronaldo, the Red Devils eventually lost 2-1, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka seeing red midway through the first half.

Things have been going a lot better for Man Utd in the Premier League, though. They currently sit atop the standings are also the joint-top scorers in the division.

Solskjaer’s side will be looking to extend their remarkable unbeaten run in Premier League away matches to 22 games this weekend.

Head-to-head: West Ham have only managed to win eight of their previous 43 meetings with Man Utd in all competitions.

The Hammers have also failed to win any of the last four meetings between the teams, recording two draws and two losses in that time.

Team news: Unfortunately, West Ham will be without suspended top scorer Michail Antonio this weekend, following his sending off in the previous game.

As for Man Utd, Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles, Amad Diallo and Marcus Rashford are all currently sidelined through injury.

Despite West Ham’s solid start to the campaign, Man Utd are expected to flex their muscles and leave the capital with all three points on Sunday.

Forebet predicts that Man Utd will score over 1.5 goals en route to beating the Hammers, ending the hosts’ unbeaten record in the process.
