Bournemouth are back at the Vitality Stadium this weekend to meet with a Burnley side struggling just as much as they are in the latest Premier League season with both sides down in relegation zone after nine games.

This is arguably the biggest game of the season for these two sides, but it is the Cherries who head into this game without a win on the board and with only three points racked up from the nine matches.

Alarmingly, Bournemouth have already let in 20 goals in this period and scored just six of their own too, and they come into this one having suffered a loss at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers where Dominic Solanke netted the opening goal.

Lewis Cook was also sent off that day and now misses this clash.

Bournemouth have now lost four games in a row as a result by suffering losses to Brighton & Hove Albion, Arsenal and Everton, as they racked up two draws in a row before that with a point at home to Chelsea and a point on the road against Brentford.

The south coast side are, however, into the EFL Cup next round and with a meeting with Liverpool in the round of 16 to come.

They met with Stoke City in the last round of fixtures, as Joe Rothwell scored minutes after Solanke gave the side the lead.

Bournemouth are also without some key players for this game, and Lewis Cook will join Tyler Adams with the American not set to feature until around February after a brutal injury just weeks into joining the club from Leeds United.

Ryan Fredericks is nearing a return but is not quite ready to do so for a few more weeks, while Emiliano Marcondes Camargo Hansen is in the same boat.

As for Burnley, they are without a handful of players too, with Connor Roberts out after his suspension and he won't return until next weekend.

Jordan Beyer and Hjalmar Ekdal are also out of action in this one, while Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Benson Manuel face late fitness tests in this game.

Jacob Bruun Larsen and Michael Obafemi are set to return soon but are unlikely to do so in this match.

Burnley are also in the relegation zone and come into this match with only one win on the board after beating Luton Town before the international break.

Forebet now predicts a draw here and over 2.5 goals.
