Everton will be looking for their fourth win in the past five games when they meet with Brighton & Hove Albion at Goodison Park this weekend with the Toffees finally starting to find their feet.
Sean Dyche’s side were in dreadful form to start the season but have turned a corner in recent weeks.
In fact, Dyche also heads into this one having racked up a win over his former club Burnley, following on from a 3-0 win in the EFL Cup over them where James Tarkowski, Amadou Onana and Ashley Young all scored goals each. They also restricted Burnley to just one shot on target.
Everton also managed to secure a 1-0 win over West Ham United at the London Stadium last weekend, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin got another goal in what has been a promising return to action and form for him.
They did lose a Merseyside derby with Liverpool before this, however, but the Toffees were barely expected to get anything out of that game.
Everton also beat Bournemouth before this where James Garner, Jack Harrison and Abdoulaye Doucoure all scored goals each.
Further wins this season have seen Everton defeat Aston Villa at Villa Park in the EFL Cup with thanks to goals from Garner and Calvert-Lewin, while the English striker also scored in the 3-1 win at Brentford after another goal each from Tarkowski and Doucoure.
As for Brighton, they are currently in their worst bout of form under Roberto De Zerbi so far.
The club head into this game having secured only one Premier League win in the past five matches, as they defeated Bournemouth. Kauro Mitoma was once again the hero that day with two goals in the second half.
Since then, however, the club have gone on to lose 6-1 to Aston Villa, draw 2-2 with Liverpool, lose 2-1 to Manchester City at the Etihad and also draw 1-1 with Fulham.
They have, however, been excellent in the Europa League by drawing with Marseille drawing this period too.
The Seagulls also racked up a win over Ajax in the Europa League after a goal each from Joao Pedro and Ansu Fati. It leaves them well within a shout of qualifying for the knockout rounds.
Forebet predicts a win for Brighton and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
