Luton Could Finally Get a Home Premier League Win Against Palace
2511

Fans of Luton Town will be confident in registering their first home win in Premier League history when they meet with Crystal Palace at Kenilworth Road as the Eagles look to get into the top half of the table.

It’s been another mediocre start to the season for Palace. Currently, the club sit down in 13th and with four wins on the board and five losses.

This has also seen them draw three games and score only 12 goals - only Burnley, Sheffield United, Bournemouth, Luton themselves and Fulham have scored fewer.

They have, however, conceded only 16, which is the best in the bottom half of the table, while only those in the top seven have better records.

In fact, even Tottenham Hotspur have let in just one more with 15.

Palace do have a decent away record as well this season. They've managed to win 1-0 at Old Trafford against Manchester United this campaign, where Joachim Andersen scored a first half winner.

They've also won at Bramall Lane against Sheffield United and defeated Burnley at Turf Moor in their last away outing.

On the other hand, Palace lost to Everton on home soil last time out, despite an early goal from Eberechi Eze from the penalty spot. Odsonne Edouard equalised in the second half to make it 2-2, but a finish from Idrissa Gueye ended the game 3-2 for the Toffees.

A win here for Roy Hodgson's men could bring them into as high as ninth in the table and above Chelsea, as they trailed the 10th-placed Blues by just one point and West Ham United in ninth by two points. However, they also need a few results to go in their favour.

As for Luton, they are winless on home soil this season but came very close to getting all three points for the first time at Kenilworth Road with a draw against Liverpool last time out. Tahith Chong scored in that game before Luis Diaz netted in the dying embers of the match.

On the other hand, despite the winless home record, the Hatters are now out of the relegation zone after Everton’s 10-point deduction saw them jump out of the bottom three. However, the club’s only win was away at Goodison Park over the relegation-fighting Toffees.

Forebet predicts Luton to finally get a home win here against Palace and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
